Lord Of The Rings

It's technically Monday, but I've intended to post this all weekend, but I'm quite the busy bee! Anyways, I was looking over some old footage as I usually do, and I figured I might as well critique this one. This is as well from my movie with my old comedy troupe, Happy Inc. It's when my character just broke up with the girl of his dreams named "Coco", who was involved with the biggest jerk in the school, Bobby Troy. I've also become a jerk at this point in the film, which is just beautiful writing on my part. Take a look:

GOOD STUFF:

-The acting is so bad, it's hilarious.

-The location is good. We filmed this scene in the North East woods near my house. I really like it because it's small, but still looks like wilderness. Expect to see it in more of my videos.

-Good shots! The angles and cuts are very good, and the editing is tight, which figures, as the movie went on, so our film making skills got better.

-I thought we did a pretty good parody of this:

-Arn't the costumes awesome?

-Can I get a "hoorah" for the special effects?

-Good use of sound effects.

BAD STUFF:

-It's a bit short. I really wish we made it go on harder. Yet again, I do remember how long it took me to edit this scene.

-The sound can always be better.

-Maybe the fighting could have been better choreographed? But that also might have contributed to the humor of the scene.

-I talk too much at the beginning

Over all, I think this is a very good scene in the movie. The pro's clearly outweigh the cons in my personal opinion, and I'm very critical of my own work. If anyone would like to watch the movie, here's the link! (password is happyinc)
