I have spent around five hours on my project this week. I did a lot of planning with Ian Dezelan this week. We discussed general idea's and who to recruit as a cast to help us on our projects. Since this is my first week of doing my project, I say this is pretty good progress. I have also been doing a lot of hands on research, like what I am currently reading "Make Your Own Damn Movie" by Lloyd Kaufman.
What did you do for hands-on?
Well, as for hands-on working, I did a lot of just general planning. These include discussing skit ideas, where to get costumes, and viewing great locations for filming. I also just fooled around with camera angles and my basic editing skills.
What Research did you do?
As far as research goes, I just used youtube to watch tutorial videos on editing, such as this one.
Also, as I mentioned, I've been reading "Make Your Own Damn Movie" by Lloyd Kaufman.
Did you meet with your mentor? What did you talk about?
Yes, I met with my mentor, Mr. Byrne. We just settled on a meeting time, so I could be exited. We will talk about real things the monday morning I get back from break.
Were you in class this week?
Yes, I was, everyday, to get exited and for red flag days.
What do you think your fulfillment of WISE requirements was?
I think that it was Good. At first it was going kind of slow, but I had a lot of time this week, so I did a lot of research and hands on work. It's coming together, and really kicking off.
What are your plans for next week?
Look at my two week plan! I'll be in South Carolina :). Yee-haw!
